Everyone knows that almost any carbon steel is subject to corrosion to one degree or another. And if you made a knife with your own hands, then sooner or later it will appear rust. Tools and MaterialsYou will need:
- Vinegar 9% .
- Paper towels.
- And the knife to cover.
Boil the vinegarPour the required amount of vinegar into the pan for boiling. We put on the stove. And while the vinegar comes to a boil, take alcohol and paper towels. Wet the towel with alcohol and wipe the blade of the knife, thereby cleaning it from dirt and degreasing. All work is carried out in a well-ventilated area.
Making an anticorrosive coatingAfter the vinegar boils, pour it into the cup. Then place the carbon steel blade in this cup. After some time, gas bubbles will appear on the knife blade. The whole procedure can take you from 10 to 20 minutes. At the end of this time, take out the knife and wipe with a paper towel.
